On Friday 24^th March, the School Choir attended the 'Wensleydale Tournament of Music and Speech' in Leyburn.  The children were excited but also quite apprehensive.  We arrived in time to see the first event which gave them a good idea as to what to expect when it was their turn to compete. 

They had a very successful day.  They came home with The Richmond Plate for their unison singing, the Dales Trophy for their Choral singing as well as first position in two other events. Standing and performing  on the huge stage to an enormous room took a lot of courage.

We also received £50 Music Bursary . A huge well done to all of the Choir for all you achieved - you were amazing!
