  • Herriot Hospice - July 25
    The Yr 6 children have been taking part in a Community Arts Project with Thirsk Arts Society and Herriot Hospice at the Lambert in Thirsk. Rosie Page (James Herriot's daughter) came to talk to Class 6 the hospice and to thank them for their hard work.
  • Class R visit to Newby Hall
    Class R had a fabulous day at Newby Hall.  We had great fun in the Gruffalo woods, on the train and in the adventure park.  We just about managed to keep cool with shady walks, ice creams and water fountains.
  • KS1 Multiskills - July 25
    Last week 11 of our KS1 children thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of multi-sports, at Thirsk School, along with other local primary schools.
  • Year 5 visit York - July '25
    Year 5 had a great trip to York Castle Museum and Clifford's Tower this week as part of our History crime and punishment topic.
  • Year 1 trip to the Beach - July '25
    On Tuesday Class 1 went to Saltburn! We made lots of sandcastles , played in the sea and of course got ice cream! We had the best day - what a fantastic end to Class 1! 
  • Class 4 visit Fountains Abbey and a Synagogue - June '25
    We visited Fountains Abbey to explore the historic grounds and immerse ourselves in the lives of 15th Century monks. We learnt about the Jewish faith, at Harrogate Synagogue.
  • Musical Concerts - June '25
    Last week some of our children performed, at our Summer Musical Evening and a Drumming Concert, in front of their parents/carers, staff and pupils. The musicians were amazing and there was a lot of talent on show. Well done .
  • Year 2 Trip to the Hindu Temple - June '25
    On 12th June Year 2 took a trip to the Hindu Mandir, in Huddersfield, as part of our RE learning. We learnt all about how Hindu’s worship. We even got to do some special dancing and blew into some shells.
  • Armed Forces Day at Catterick Garrison - June '25
    Our Armed Forces children travelled to Catterick Garrison for an annual event organised by the Army and a chance for them to get together with other forces children from the local area. A great day was had by all.
  • Sports Day - June '25
    We were blessed with lovely weather this year for our Sports Day which was a very successful afternoon for all involved.
