Our Tag Rugby Team and Quicksticks Hockey Team have recently taken part in the local schools' competition at Thirsk High School.
Our Years 5 & 6 Tag Rugby team took part in the local schools' competition at Thirsk High School on Thursday, 12th October.
The children played really well and won four out of five games! They won silver medals and returned to school in a buoyant mood!
Mr Macklam was really impressed with everyone's behaviour and attitude in the games. The children were great ambassadors for Carlton Miniott Academy.
We have also recently sent our Yrs 3/4 and Yrs 5/6 Quicksticks Hockey Teams to Thirsk School for competition. They had some wins, draws and losses but had all enjoyed their time playing on the astro pitch and got back to school in high spirits.
