A group of Year 5 and Year 6 children were taken to Thirsk School to take part in a Quiksticks hockey tournament against local schools. One of our team members was awarded a special medal for 'super fair and honest play'.
Last Thursday, a group of Year 5 and Year 6 children were taken to Thirsk School to take part in a Quiksticks hockey tournament against local schools. It took a few games for them to find their formation and, despite tough competition, they persevered well. Leo, Nova and Tillie showed good defensive skills and Hollis, James, Leighton, Freddy, Eli and Jade worked well upfront.
Well done to James for his goal and also to Hollis for being awarded a special medal for 'super fair and honest play'.
