  Classes 1 and 2 launched their Toys topic with a fantastic visit to Preston Park on Thursday 7th November '19

  A Musical Evening was held on 20th June for parents who came to see talented performances from their children. The evening's entertainment was a real treat for the ears.
• Whitby Trip
  Classes 1 and 2 had a fantastic visit to Whitby on 19th June.

  Tennis Competition at Thirsk High School - Year 3/4 Tennis Team came 3rd. Kwik Cricket Competition at York Cricket Ground - Year 5/6 Kwik Cricket Team came 4th in the York Area.
• Well Done - Sporting Achievements
  Gymnastics, Cross Country and Hockey successes.
• Y6 visit to the Houses of Parliament
  The Y6 children spent a day at the Houses of Parliament. They had the opportunity to meet with their local MP and ask him questions.
• Music for Life
  A Jazz Trio came into school to play for the children. They were very impressed with how musical Carlton Miniott children are.
