  • Year 2 Trip to the Hindu Temple - June '24
    Class 2 enjoyed their trip to the Hindu Temple, as part of their RE learning.  They took part in lots of activities and asked lots of fabulous questions.
  • Brass Blast and Brass Association - 17th May '24
    Year 5 recently had a really musical day at Thirsk High School.  Each child was given either a cornet, trumpet, trombone and one person even got to play the tuba!  They were able to perform and watch brass musicians from other schools performing too.
  • Year 3 Roseberry Topping Walk - May '24
    Class 3 became mini mountaineers walking up Roseberry Topping and raising sponsorship money for Cleveland Mountain rescue.
  • Alice in Wonderland - May '24
    M & M Productions visited our school before half-term and performed Alice in Wonderland to the whole school, which was enjoyed by all.
  • Year 3 Cricket Competition - 10th May '24
    Our team of Year 3 cricketers had a brilliant day of cricket today. They came away with third place bronze medals and very happy smiley faces.
  • Year 1 trip to Saltburn - 9th May 2024
    Class 1 had a great day in Saltburn as part of our Geography and English learning! We enjoyed a trip on the miniature railway and spent some time on the beach.
  • Year 6 visit to Teesmouth - May '24
    Year 6 visited Hartlepool Power Station as part of their geography learning. They learned about the course of the river Tees, from source to mouth, and their knowledge on the parts of the river was very impressive!
  • Music for Life - March '24
    The percussionist from 'Music for Life', Janet Fulton, visited school for the day and the children were introduced to a wide range of instruments, enjoyed workshops and performed at the end of the day.
  • Year 5 Visit to Bradford Grand Mosque - March '24
    Year 5 visited the Bradford Grand Mosque as part of their RE learning for this half term. The children had a brilliant time and learnt a lot about the Islamic faith.
  • Year 3 Visit to Ryedale Folk Museum - March '24
    This week Class Three journeyed through time with a visit to the 'Stonehenge of the North' known as Thornborough Henges and also Ryedale Folk Museum. This trip helped us to see how life changed from the Stone Age to the Iron Age.
