  • Bugsy - Yrs 5/6 Production June '24
    The Yrs 5/6 Production of Bugsy was a great success. Well done to all the children for learning lines, dances and helping backstage.
  • Years 3/4 Tennis Skills Competition - Jun '24
    Our Yrs 3/4 tennis players enjoyed an afternoon of tennis skills and competition yesterday afternoon at Thirsk High School.  Out of 8 schools competing they finished in 4th place.  Well done!
  • Armed Forces Day at Catterick Garrison - June '24
    18 of our children, who’s parents are currently active and serving within the Armed Forces, joined another 1,000 school children at Catterick Garrison for Armed Forces Day. A fun day was had by all with lots of different activities to enjoy.
  • Summer Concert June 2024
    We were so proud of all the children who performed so confidently to an audience. We had piano, guitar and violin performances and our own school choir performed as well.
  • Years 5/6 Cricket Competition - June '24
    Our Yrs 5/6 Cricket Team travelled to Thirsk High School competing against other local primary schools. Their hard work paid off as they came back to school clutching their Bronze medals after finishing 3rd overall.
  • Year 5 Visit to York Museum Gardens - June '24
    Year 5 went on a trip to the Yorkshire Museum in York to take part in a 'Time Odyssey' workshop.  This was a free, interactive learning experience that we were lucky to have been selected for as a trial school. The children really enjoyed the experience.
  • Class R Visit to the Herb Farm - June '24
    Class R had a great morning at the herb farm.  They enjoyed a wonderful selection of activities laid on by the Herbs Unlimited team.
  • Year 2 Trip to the Hindu Temple - June '24
    Class 2 enjoyed their trip to the Hindu Temple, as part of their RE learning.  They took part in lots of activities and asked lots of fabulous questions.
  • Brass Blast and Brass Association - 17th May '24
    Year 5 recently had a really musical day at Thirsk High School.  Each child was given either a cornet, trumpet, trombone and one person even got to play the tuba!  They were able to perform and watch brass musicians from other schools performing too.
  • Year 3 Roseberry Topping Walk - May '24
    Class 3 became mini mountaineers walking up Roseberry Topping and raising sponsorship money for Cleveland Mountain rescue.
